Jerry has sent me this message with the hope it can reach many of out German residents, friends and visitors, so please share as much as possible.
A German couple, in the process of downsizing, longtime supporters of Friends of Four Patinhas, donated their complete library they had brought to Madeira from Germany a few years back. All the books are hardcover, contemporary, a great variety of subjects, all in German language. about 1000 books.
The books are being offered at 1 Euro each.
The proceeds from our German Language Used Book Sale will provide funding for our neutering programs.
This is a wonderful opportunity to help Friends of Four Patinhas through the world of literature, while meeting folks in your community and having fun.
The shop is open Monday Through Friday, 10 to 5, closed midday from 1 to 2.
