The Boeing 737, from the airline Jet2, which left Edinburgh at 7:55 am this Friday, March 15, bound for Tenerife, was diverted to Porto Santo Airport.
The issue is allegedly disrespect that led to the diversion of the aircraft and, consequently, the intervention of the police force.
The plane is scheduled to depart for Tenerife at 1:26 pm.
