Members of the Funchal Maritime Police Local Command carried out, between the 14th and 15th of May, joint inspection actions with the National Communications Authority (ANACOM)”, announces the Navy, measures that “aimed at verifying the operating conditions of the stations of radio communications on board fishing and maritime-tourist vessels, in the ports and marinas of Madeira”.
In a note released today, they state that “during the operations, 29 vessels were inspected, 14 of which showed irregularities, with members of the Maritime Police, in collaboration with members of ANACOM, preparing the respective report”.
“A total of five members of the Funchal Maritime Police Local Command and five ANACOM inspectors were involved in this action”, he concludes.
