The ports of Madeira (Funchal, Caniçal and Porto Santo) received, in the first five months of 2024, 34 mega-yachts, – 28 of which called in the capital of Madeira -, an increase of almost 42%, compared to the same period in 2023 .
According to APRAM – Administration of Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, April was the month with the highest concentration of mega-yachts, a total of 22, 17 of which docked at the Port of Funchal.
These are repositioning trips from the Caribbean or the United States to the Mediterranean. In October and November, the movement is made in reverse, from Europe to the USA and the Caribbean.

The Arrow arrived yesterday from Antigua and leaves at 8:30 am tomorrow, for Palma de Mallorca.
The Victoria del Mar, which recently left the Port of Funchal, came from Fort Lauderdale, with 10 crew members and is currently on its way to Gibraltar.
