Thursday, the islands of Madeira and Porto Santo will be under yellow warning due to the forecast of heavy rain indicated by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The information released this afternoon by IPMA shows that rainfall is expected, at times heavy, and may be accompanied by thunderstorms.
On the island of Madeira – North coast, South coast and mountainous regions – the warning is in effect between 12 pm and 9 pm on June 6th.
In Porto Santo, the period of greatest rainfall is expected to occur between 3 pm and 9 pm on Thursday.
