The first images of the volcanic eruption on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands begin to appear.

According to the Observer, people with reduced mobility who live near the Cumpre Vieja volcano in La Palma have already started to be evacuated, after scientists registered a series of earthquakes with increasing force.
