The Public Security Police, with the assistance of the Forest Police, identified the alleged perpetrator of the fire at Ponta do Pargo.
As already reported by DIÁRIO, the bushfire mobilized three fire brigades – Calheta Volunteer Firefighters, Ribeira Brava Volunteer Firefighters and Funchal Firefighters, with a total of 25 members and five vehicles.
