CARLOS COSTA DISGUSTED: “COVID LOOKS LIKE AN ANECDOTE. I LOST MY FATHER WHO WAS WAITING FOR A PRIVATE CONSULTATION”

Madeiran singer Carlos Costa was indignant at the way the pandemic is being managed not only in Portugal, but also in the rest of the world, pointing out gaps in health services due to the virus.

“This Covid looks like an anecdote. I lost my father who was waiting for a consultation at a private hospital! Private and paid for with a gold dollar,” wrote the singer on his Instagram account and says that his father, who died on July 25, you will have made the appointment after having felt cardiac instability.

“He died with small alerts of possible cardiac instability. Waiting for paid medical service,” he continued.

“The number of deaths worldwide these months is unusual. Not even 2% is due to this virus that deprives us of life. They are taking our life,” he wrote in the publication, sparing no criticism of political action in relation to how this health problem is being managed.

It is recalled that the artist’s father died, at the end of last July, victim of a cardiorespiratory arrest, in Porto Moniz.
