Nurses, doctors and the elderly will be the first to immunize with a third dose of the vaccine

Miguel Albuquerque admitted that “the most likely” is that the third dose of the vaccine against covid-19 will be administered, and nurses, doctors and the  elderly are in the front line to recieve, as was the case with the first vaccination.

The possible administration of a third dose of the vaccine “is a decision that is up to the General Directorate of Health”.

  4. Hi Richard, think of the potential upsides of any issue and balance them realistically against any downsides. Think of the wider issues as well. Coronavirus for example will have effects that are not directly linked to infection with the virus. Economic impacts, depression, upturn in young people smoking, deleterious effects on the long term life chances of those furloughed are some. Focussing on marginal issues such as outside face mask behaviour and calling for ever lasting restrictions and sanctions is inherently negative. Keep going, you’ll get it.

  5. You are wrong.
    Focusing on protective measures to avoid the spread of the virus will inherently reduce the impact of the virus, which is not only the items you delineate but also the grief of the families of the millions who have died and the effects of Long Covid on the millions who have had the virus and are currently suffering for who knows how long. One should be realistic and face the facts, neither too positive nor too negative. But I don’t think you’ll ever get it, unless you get Covid and suffer.
