The first baby of 2024 was born in the early morning of this Tuesday, January 2nd, at 1:33 am, in the maternity ward of Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. He is a boy, weighs 3,140 kg and, like his mother, is in good health.
This will be the first family, this year, to benefit from the Baby Kit Card, a birth support measure, implemented by the Regional Government in 2019, aimed at all children born in the maternity ward of the Regional Health Service Hospital.
DIÁRIO and Continente, as already reported, will also give gifts to this year’s first baby: a gift voucher worth 250 euros, on a Continente card and destined for Continente Baby products.
The initiative also includes a second offer, which will be delivered after the first month of life.
