Five injured after collision between car and bus in Nazaré

There were five people injured in the collision between a car and a bus, which occurred this morning, at 9:08 am, in the neighborhood of Nazaré, in Funchal (more specifically on Rua do Brasil). The injured, all of them minor, were transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.

Three fire brigades were mobilized to the site: two ambulances from the Madeiran Volunteers, one from the Câmara de Lobos Volunteers and another from the Sapadores do Funchal, in addition to an extricationist and two other vehicles from the same corporation.

The Sapadores transported the passenger of the light vehicle to the hospital, while the remaining injured (all passengers on the bus) were transported by the remaining corporations.
