A fire broke out late in the afternoon of Thursday, February 19th, at the Caldeira site in Câmara de Lobos.
According to information gathered, the flames are consuming a wooded area next to the Santa Clara Road, without putting homes or other infrastructure at risk.
Six firefighters from the Câmara de Lobos Volunteer Fire Department, supported by two vehicles, are on site battling the fire.
The Public Security Police took charge of the incident.
