A collision on the highway, towards Funchal-Santa Cruz, in Caniço de Baixo, is causing traffic congestion.
Following the accident, an elderly woman aged around 80 who was traveling in one of the vehicles felt unwell and had to be transported to the hospital in an ambulance from the Sapadores Firefighters of Santa Cruz.
