  1. Nice! But this is at the same time info how to use mask totally wrong, woman is all the time touching and picking her mask, putting it under her chin and back again. She wears all the time same mask and it is not fitting on her face it slides away and exposes her nose.

  3. I like the couple and would like to see more of their trip to Madeira. I also thought exactly the same about her mask. Not good at all, in fact quite useless !

      1. The Fruit Market IS a tourist attraction and you may call it a trap.
        It is open from Monday to Thursday.

        The REAL market is on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 till about 2pm.
        It is a very attractive market offering seasonal local fruits and vegetables.
        You should go there before 9am when the first tourists start appearing and the “traps” open their shutters.

  4. I like the couple and would love to see more of their trip to Madeira. I also agree about her mask. Absolutely useless !

  5. The best part of the market is going upstairs to the cafe on the roof. Great sun trap, then again most are. Otherwise after our first purchase 18 years ago in the market, never again. Tourist trap is putting very politely Tobi.

    1. I was thinking exactly the same Tim – so I Googled Axel Schura. Very revealing in that they seem a nice couple who use their videos to promote their travels around the world – and boy do they get around! Nothing wrong with that as I only wish I was young enough to do the same. BUT in all the videos they seem to be promoting his girlfriend and their relationship more than the country they are visiting – and Madeira is treated no differently in that respect. To those that commented about his girlfriends mask, you’ll not be surprised that they had to leave Indonesia because his girlfriend tested POSITIVE to Covid-19!

      I think they stayed in the Saccharum Hotel in Calheta – looks very nice. However, I would need a hire car to get to and fro Funchal. I made a decision 5-years ago to give up my car and driving as here where I live (Old Portsmouth, Hampshire) we have so many good restaurants and bars all within walking distance. That’s why my wife and I absolutely love staying in Funchal.

  6. Not much of Maderia to see in this video. She certainly likes to be the main attraction and Madeira is actually sidelined.
