JPP demands access to the licensing process for Lidl stores in Funchal

Juntos Pelo Povo has been demanding, since August this year, access to the licensing process for Lidl stores in the city of Funchal. This Sunday, December 3rd, the party leader exposed the “arm’s length” to access information.

In a post on the social network Facebook, Élvio Sousa begins by noting that “the licensing entity itself, the Municipal Council of Funchal de Pedro Calado, has been blocking access to the Lidl licensing process for three months”.

The JPP leader criticizes that the president of the Funchal City Council, Pedro Calado, “has, from the beginning, refused to show the licensing process, and hand over all the documentation”, claiming that there is a “commercial secret” to “hide the true”. Élvio Sousa guarantees that his party will continue to investigate the case: “Promiscuity between politics and business and ‘paid orders’ will be on our agenda.”
