One of the two pregnant women transferred from the Azores to Madeira on May 5th, “has already given birth to twins and is in good health”, the Regional Health Service said today in a statement, in which it needs all users to 59 sheltered users “continue to receive all necessary care”.
According to the same note, “at the moment, there are 26 users housed in Garrison Regiment No. 3, 23 are admitted to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, and 7 are in their own accommodation”.
SESARAM revealed that “a user, due to the fact that they already have a surgical procedure scheduled in Lisbon, has already left the Autonomous Region of Madeira”.
In the same statement, the aforementioned Service explains that the “55 patients with chronic kidney disease continue to receive their respective treatments, as well as all necessary medication, which is being provided by SESARAM, EPERAM”.
